Don’t worry Arrow fans, there might not be a new episode of the hit CW series tonight, but we are just one week from the mid-season return date. However, fans can not wait to find out more about the series big new villains: Deathstroke, Brother Blood and Ra’s Al Ghul. Warning Spoilers Follow.
In the new season. the Green Arrow is up to his quiver in new villians. Not only has Ollie’s old Island pal, Slade Wilson, become the superpowered bad guy, Deathstroke, but he is handing out those powers to Brother Blood and his brotherhood of thugs. Blood, using Wilson’s...blood, has already turned small time crook Cyrus Gold into the unkillable zombie Solomon Grundy.
If Brother Blood’s Deathstroke-backed army isn’t enough for The Arrow, there is always the threat of the League of Assassins looming. The cult of highly trained killers is still out there, and you can bet they have an eye on Ollie.
Where it is still too soon to tell if The Demon Head, Ra’s al Ghul, will make an appearance in the show, it has been confirmed that his daughter will join the cast. However, it won't be Talia al Ghul, but instead, Nyssa al Ghul (the Billy Baldwin of the al Ghul family), will be facing off against The Arrow.
Rumor has it the Nyssa will be coming to Starling City, to hunt down the former League of Assassins Member, The Black Canary. Maybe she might run into another former League member, Malcom Merlin while she is in town.
Spartacus actress Katrina Law has reportedly been cast in the role.
