Television mogul Simon Cowell is in Barbados with his fiancee Lauren Silverman getting their lives baby ready before the little one’s arrival in coming weeks. The surly X Factor producer is known more his micromanaging, so there is little doubt that he is planning everything down to the detail.
The two have been busy readying the house for the baby and their new parent lifestyle.
Cowell explains to OK! that while the baby has to be safe, the adults need access to the things that keep them sane:
‘You have to get rid of sharp edges, cigarettes, [and] alcohol. But I’ll have a smoking room!”
More than just the baby’s safety has been looked has been taken care of by the expecting couple.
They have enough baby supplies for ten more babies to come. Cowell spoke to Us Weekly about the seemingly endless piles of baby provisions:
“We have lots of clothes. It looks like I’m having 100 kids!”
The two have decided on everything for the baby except the name. They have been heatedly debating for some time, but it seems they have narrowed the field according to a source in US Weekly:
“They’re thinking Simon Jr. or Eric [for a name], but haven’t settled on one yet.”
Whatever the name is, let us hope it gets the father’s sense of determination and the mother’s good looks. And let us hope the sociability, moral compass, business ethics, sense of self worth, and overall personality are donated by a benevolent third party.
