Jennifer Lawrence, of Hunger Games 2 fame, will be presenting this year at the annual Golden Globes ceremony. It was also revealed that the actress has been nominated for her role in American Hustle.
America’s sweetheart, J-Law may take home the award for Best Supporting Actress. While her win is uncertain, she will at least be handing out one trophy for the night.
When it comes to the hosts, however, it will be Tina Fey and Amy Poehler that shine, as the U.K.-owned Telegraph reports:
“Comedy duo Tina Fey and Amy Poehler return to host the awards for a second year in 2014. The pair, who have worked together throughout their careers, were praised as Golden Globe hosts in 2013 after British comedian Ricky Gervais hosted for three years.”
Some might believe that Jennifer is excellent at picking roles, however, they would be wrong. In a recent edition of OK! Magazine, the actress spoke about her process in picking films:
“I don’t feel like I ever choose roles. It has to be a director that I want to work with, and directors are very important to me because those are people you learn from. The relationship between an actor and director is so important, especially being as young as I am and not really having a lot of experience.”
Of course, Jen has been making headlines for more than just her work. In an earlier edition of the tabloid, a source claims that Jen is engaged to the sexy Nicholas Hoult:
“I don’t think there’s going to be any big announcement. They just want to slip away and get married in quiet. They’d much rather run off somewhere and marry quietly and then have a family get-together, one in Kentucky [Jennifer’s home state] and the other in London [Nicholas’ home turf]. Having a lavish Hollywood wedding is the last thing they want. Jen says planning it all and working out a guest list would drive her crazy. It would be so stressful deciding who to invite, so as not to offend anyone in Hollywood.”
