Jennette McCurdy has released a new song. The actress/singer has added her version of Bruno Mars’ “Locked Out of Heaven” to her long list of cover tracks. Meanwhile, McCurdy’s hit show Sam and Cat is getting ready to air its long awaited iCarly and Victorious reunion episode.
The supertalented Jennette McCurdy is showing her singing voice once again with a brand new cover. In what appears to be a bi-weekly event, the starlet has added her version of Bruno Mars “Locked Out of Heaven.”
Add that to her ever growing list of covers, including: One Direction’s “Story of my Life,” Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball,” Lorde’s “Team,” Rihanna’s “Stay,” and Katy Perry’s “Unconditional.”
Dont forget about her holiday themed set of Justin Bieber’s “Mistletoe,” as well the Christmas classics “Santa Baby” and “ I’ll Be Home for Christmas.” Seriously, just put out a new album already.
Meanwhile, McCurdy is about to celebrate a big event at her day job. An all new episode of Sam and Cat, featuring cast members of iCarly and Victorious, is about to air. The official air date for the special hour long reunion episode premieres on January 18.
J14 has released a synopsis for the episode, stating:
“When Sam meets Cat's friend Jade from Hollywood Arts, Sam and Jade become friends, leaving Cat feeling a little left out. Taking some questionable advice from Nona, Cat decides to retaliate by ‘stealing’ a friend of Sam's--and it's Freddie Benson! As Cat tries to get cozy with Freddie, Sam finds out and goes after a friend of Cat's-- Robbie Shapiro! The jealousy comes to a crashing climax at Fisherman's Wharf, where Dice has hired Sam to jump her motorcycle over a tank full of vicious man-biting tuna.”
However, the promo for the episode seems to put more focus on the tuna jump, stating that Freddie comes to town to stop the jump.
