Well, the old gang from Nickelodeon is all grown up now. Victorious star Victoria Justice is getting ready to release her debut solo album and is starring in an all new TV show. However, despite her busy schedule, she has still found time to write love letters to old people. Meanwhile, Big Time Rush member, Carlos Pena, just got married to actress Alexa Vega.
Things are starting to pick up for Victoria Justice. We haven’t seen much of the starlet since her hit Nickelodeon series Victorious was unjustly cancelled. However, 2014 is shaping up to a big year for Justice.
Towards the tail end of 2013, she released her brand new single, a cover of A Great Big World’s hit song, “Say Something," with Max Schneider. Justice is releasing her debut album, Shake, later on in the year. Justice can also be seen on MTV’s new show, Eye Candy.
With her newly busy schedule, Justice still has time for a little charity work. Justice is making a difference by writing love letters to an older man. Well, older people we should say.
Justice is lending her time to the Love Letters program from DoSomething.org and Mentor Up. The campaign encourages teens to write letters to cheer up the elderly. Justice made a statement to press about the new project:
“I’m so excited to support a campaign that helps brighten an older person’s day. I’m really close with my grandma and love that teens across the country are going to spread some love and make a difference in the lives of older adults this Valentine’s Day. Love Letters is way better than cheesy stuffed animals and chocolate.”
Speaking of love, Justice recently spread some love for her fellow Nick alum, Carlos Pena, of Big Time Rush, and his new bride, Alexa Vega, tweeting:
“I would like 2 give a huge congrats to @TheCarlosPena & @AlexaVega on their wedding. U guys make a really lovely couple. Best wishes always.”
