Princess Kate Pregnant Rumors Continue After Charity Criticism and Prince George Royal Baby Birth [UPDATE]

Rumors that Princess Kate Middleton could be pregnant continue to fly. These latest claims come after Kate and William’s charity work continue to be criticized. Could there be another royal baby announcement so close to the birth of her first child, Prince George Alexander Louis?

Independent Online is among a number of sites reporting that the princess could be pregnant. According to the site, the royal family’s decision not to refute pregnancy claims is what’s keeping them going:

“While rumours continue to swirl about the alleged pregnancy of Kate Middleton, official sources remain ‘mum’ on the matter. Middleton, 31, is said to be expecting her second child with Prince William, just six months after the birth of royal baby Prince George Alexander Louis.”

The article that’s responsible for this latest wave of rumors comes courtesy of Star. The popular, though often WRONG, tabloid quotes a source as claiming that Kate is officially pregnant:

“Kate only recently confirmed it with her doctor, then shared the happy news with William; she’s barely three months along at this point. Their immediate family was obviously thrilled beyond words when the couple told them the news.”

While the story is likely rubbish, that doesn’t mean that it’s going to die down anytime soon--just like criticism of Kate’s charity work.

A few weeks back, we wrote an article praising Catherine’s work with the Scouts. But it turns out that not everyone is so impressed.

Numerous commenters criticized both Princess Kate and Prince William’s actual involvement in UK charities. Chief among those detractors is a user that goes by the name Duchess Lazy (who we continue to reach out to for a full interview, j.lambert@classicalite.com).

The anonymous user didn’t just go after Kate’s allegedly limited involvement in the Scouts, but he/she also accused Prince William (and the rest of the royal family) of being hypocrites:

"Prince William is the Royal Patron of 'Age UK'...the organization that has published the figures of the elderly dying of cold in the winter in the UK. They can't afford to heat their homes. Nearly 200 will die today, and tomorrow, and the next day until over 30,000 will have died, by the end of winter, in a rich, supposedly sophisticated country. William could easily help, if he requested something would be done. No doubt about that. But no, he's not drumming up support to save the elderly."
