New 'Thor 2' Short Film Pits Loki Tom Hiddleston Vs 'Iron Man 3' Mandarin Ben Kingsley, ‘All Hail the King’ [SPOILERS]

***Spoiler Warning for Iron Man 3 and Thor 2*** Well, Thor 2: The Dark World is gearing up for its Blu-Ray/DVD release and that means another Marvel One Shot short film is on the way. The new short, titled All Hail the King, has a lot fans wondering if it will feature Tom Hiddleston, AKA Loki, or 'Iron Man 3’s' Ben Kingsley, AKA the not-so-Mandarin.

Many fans assumed that when Loki, disguised as Odin, took the throne of Asgard at the end of Thor: The Dark World, that he was the king mentioned in Marvel’s new One Shot, All Hail The King. However, Loki’s loyal army may be in for a great disappointment. The real king might just be Iron Man 3’s Ben Kingsley.

That is right, the sorry excuse for Mandarin and cheap stolen Batman Begins plot device may be getting a little more screen time.

Kingsley recently revealed to the Belfast Telegraph that he was continuing to work for Marvel:

"It's a secret Marvel project. I'm not allowed to say any more, you're going to have to wait and see."

Iron Man screenwriter Drew Pearce also tweeted:

“Belated happy new year, people. Oh, and #AllHailTheKing”

With all these telltale clues and the fact that Marvel One Shots do not usually tie into the films that they are released with, give fans good ground to believe that we won't be seeing Tom Hiddleston in All Hail the King.

That is sad news for all the Loki fans out there that were anxiously awaiting the new release. Why Marvel would choose to further explore such an unpopular and disappointing character as Ben Kingsley's is mind blowing. The (stolen) plot twist was in many’s opinion the very worst part of Marvel's Cinematic Universe thus far.
