It has been a hailstorm of cheating allegations and rumors leading up to the official separation of Taye Diggs and his wife of ten years Idina Menzel. Don’t wait for reconciliations. It was impossible to tell if Diggs was celebrating his Jan. 2 birthday or his divorce, when he recently took 3 women home from a nightclub.
Taye Diggs had been dodging accusations of cheating and a dysfunctional marriage so long that he thought he should make up something that might sound like they were working on it. He told US Weekly that the couple was in counseling but it wasn't serious:
“We go every once in a while to fine tune.”
Menzel was a little more honest about the constant struggle that the marriage had become in recent months.
She admitted to People that things were a little more out of tune than Diggs led folks to believe:
"We work at it, I'm not going to glamorize it or glorify it--we go through tough times like everybody else, but we love each other very much. We try not to be away from each other for more than two weeks at a time, and we try to find new ways to communicate."
Diggs, however, is working on communicating with other women. Diggs has been seen out and about talking with any number of women, as long as they aren’t his wife. Celebrity Dirty Laundry even reported that the star has been seen leaving nightclub with three women home at once.
Thats one way to bring in the new year. Have a happy birthday, if you can't have a happy anniversary.
