Rumors are once again flying that The Voice’s Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert could be getting a divorce. However, the couple recently denied all of these pesky cheating rumors and laughed off reports that they’re considering a split.
A recent edition of The National Enquirer is once again claiming that Blake and Miranda are getting a divorce. Specifically, the tabloid claims that they’re heading towards a $100 million trial.
Unfortunately, it’s not just National Enquirer that’s claiming the couple’s relationship could be on the rocks.
Star, a popular U.S. tabloid claims that Miranda is self-conscious in their marriage.
According to one “source” who allegedly spoke with the publication, Miranda’s recent weight loss was due to her marital insecurity:
“Miranda felt like she didn’t look good enough for Blake and wanted to become as hot as possible so he wouldn’t be tempted to cheat... Miranda is very insecure of Blake’s friendship with Christina on The Voice, so that helped motivate her to get thin. Her ultimate goal is to look better than Christina."
In typical fashion, Blake laughed off the claims on Twitter, tweeting to his followers (and wife):
“Wow!! @mirandalambert and I are so excited about our 100 million dollars!!! Who knew you could make so much money just by divorcing?!!”
Of course, this isn’t the first time that Blake has used the social networking site to make fun of infidelity claims:
“I just read back to back NEW stories that @mirandalambert and I are having a baby, divorcing, cheating and feuding with @cher. Must be true!”
He also took a jab at the fact that we have a serious health care problem in America, writing:
“If it costs 40 million dollars to get a divorce then how will we ever afford it?!!! We had that money set aside for health care!!!”
