Keri Russell, of FX’s The Americans, ended the year on a bit of a down note. The 37-year-old mother of two had an apartment break in, while she was home alone, just a few weeks ago. Only to have to admit that she was alone, because she and her husband of nearly 7 years are getting divorced. Things may soon be improved, as it seems the star has a new boyfriend.
When Keri Russell sprang upstairs in the dead of night to run off unwelcome intruders and surveyed the damage, it was just the beginning of the embarrassing situation.
The crime forced Felicity to have to explain why she was living in a new apartment without her husband, contractor Shane Deary.
The star answered questions through her rep, who released a statement to People:
"They have been separated since early summer. The separation is amicable and their focus is on their children."
While it is certainly true that Russell is focusing on her son River and daughter Willa, they aren’t her only focus.
It has recently come to light that a relationship is beginning to blossom between Russell and her 39-year-old Americans co-star Matthew Rhys.
The two have been spending more and more time together. They were recently spotted walking arm in arm around New York just before Christmas. An eyewitness told Star that the pair looked very close:
“They were laughing and walking closely together. They looked very much like a couple.”
