Governor Chris Christie, likely presidential nominee for the Republican Party, recently joined BuzzFeed. The NJ politician posted a series of somewhat comical GIFs on the site, shortly after he tied with Hillary Clinton in a major national poll for a potential 2016 runoff.
If you missed Chris’ latest entry into the digital age, you really should check it out. The 21 different GIFs feature a number of notable moments from 2013, as Montclair Patch revealed:
“The animated images include Christie being praised by U.S. Sen. Cory Booker, appearing on Jimmy Fallon, naming the Dallas Cowboys his favorite football team and personal appearances with Bill Clinton, Jon Bon Jovi and Shaquille O’Neal. He also included moments from a groundbreaking at Rowan University and a speech at the Jersey Shore about rebuilding after Hurricane Sandy.”
While Christie’s post generated a little buzz, it didn’t come close to the headlines made by a recent poll. When Americans were asked who they would vote for, given the choice of either Hillary Clinton or Chris Christie, the results may shock you, as Huffington Post explains:
“Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton (D) and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) would be nearly tied if they were running against each other in the 2016 presidential race, a new CNN/ORC poll finds...According to the survey, 48 percent of registered voters would back Christie, while 46 percent would vote for Clinton--a difference that falls within the survey's margin of error.”
Do you agree with the poll’s findings? Who would you vote for given the race was between Clinton and Christie? What was your favorite GIF?
