Well it is 2014, and we are still talking about George Zimmerman. One of the most controversial figures of 2013, George Zimmerman was acquitted of the 2012 slaying of Trayvon Martin and later went on a downward spiral leading to a divorce and an assault arrest. A new video has now been released of Zimmerman’s “girlfriend,” Samantha Scheibe, telling authorities about how he threatened her with a gun. Meanwhile, his estranged wife, Shellie Zimmerman, was recently injured and surprisingly not by George. Shellie was the victim of a DUI driver.
Samanta Scheibe may have dropped the charges against George Zimmerman (Why not right...He deserves a break after that whole getting away murdering an unarmed teenager thing), but her accusations against him still live on for the world to see.
A new video of her police interview has been released. In the video, Scheibe details the assault immediately following the event leading to his November arrest. In the interview, Scheibe says:
“He picked up his AR and unloaded it. He took out the clip, and he whatever, the one bullet fell out, put the AR in his rifle bag and then he took the shotgun, and I don’t know cocked it. I don’t know he could have been making sure one was in the chamber. I assumed at that point that he was loading it, since he unloaded his other one until no bullets came out at all, and it made sense to me that obviously he wasn’t unloading it.”
Meanwhile, the other woman in Zimmerman’s life, his soon to be ex-wife, Shellie Zimmerman, is recovering following a car crash. Shellie was hit by an alleged drunk driver who ran a red light, last week. We wish Shellie all the best in her recovery.
