Well, 2014 is almost here and that means the Age of Extinction is almost upon us. Transformer 4: Age of Extinction is one the most anticipated films of the new year. The new movie comes equipped with an all new cast, (Mark Wahlberg) all new Transformers (Dinobot, Grimlock) and an all new look for the old favorites, Optimus Prime and Bumblebee. The flick also comes with a brand new tone and some hot new merchandise. Now all we need is a brand new trailer.
Transformers 4: Age of Extinction is just a few short months away and fans are already freaking out about the upcoming epic. Just the stories about filming have been entertaining enough. First, the crew blew up everything in their sights from Detroit to Hong Kong, and then Michael Bay was almost killed by a zombie who attacked the set ( Seriously...No Lie).
However, all that trouble might be worth it. The already successful franchise is getting a fresh new start (soft reboot) in the new film, including an all new cast. Leading the new group of fleshlings is Mark Wahlberg, who is all grown up and playing the dad in the new movie. Walburg recently spoke to The Daily Beast about his new role:
“It was a tighter script, and its own stand-alone thing. I think the emotional core of it, the human element, is going to be extremely powerful... It’s an ordinary man trying to do extraordinary things to save his daughter and keep her alive--and this boyfriend he didn’t know anything about. He’d had a child when he was in high school and his wife passed away, and the promise he’d made to her was that she wouldn’t date any boys until she graduated and that she’d be at the graduation--because we weren’t due to the pregnancy. So there’s an anchor to it and a realness to it that I like a lot.”
