Stephan Amell is starting to make quite the name for himself, and it is a name that he's lucky enough to share with his beautiful wife, model Cassandra Jean. The couple recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary. The pair posted pictures for all the world to see. Meanwhile, Amell’s hit CW show, Arrow, is gearing up for its big mid-season return date. The series, reportedly, has big things in store for 2014.
Stephan Amell has quite the string of very merry Christmas’s lately, and we mean that in every way possible. Last year, Amell and former America’s Next Top Model contestant, Cassandra Jean, were married on Christmas Day.
This year, the couple celebrated the occasion with their newborn daughter, Mavi Alexandra Jean Amell. Little Mavi was born on Oct 15, 2013. However, this isn’t the couple's only wedding anniversary. The couple's private Caribbean Christmas wedding was followed by a second ceremony in New Orleans on May 26, 2013.
Speaking of important dates. Amell’s hit series, Arrow, returns on Wednesday January, 15. The CW show plans on ringing in the new year with a bang in brand new episode "Blast Radius."
The show has proven to be a hit both in the ratings and with critics. Despite being available on Hulu Plus, the show has become of the most pirated shows of 2013. Amell tweeted a link to the Deadline article about the issue, along with the message:
“I don't endorse this, but that doesn't mean it isn't awesome”
Amell is also hoping to stretch his small screen success to the big screen. The star recently spoke with Quiver Podcast about his ambitions to join the Justice League:
"Of course...I would like them to have a shared universe...We are trying to put them on a level where if Warner Brothers and DC Comics decided they wanted to them to be a part of the movie, people would buy it...I think that the characters we are creating in our universe can stand next to Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot."
