There’s been yet another update in the mental health of Amanda Bynes. The schizophrenic actress’ illness seems to be improving, as she was spotted spending Christmas with her mom, following her release from rehab.
In case you missed the pics of the happy family, you can check them out over at our friend New York Daily News. The publication was happy to inform their readers of Amanda’s progress:
“Rick and Lynn Bynes took the former child star on a stroll with their dogs near their Thousand Oaks, Calif., home, enjoying a spate of warm Christmas Day weather. Sporting her new blonder look, the 27-year-old actress looked healthy in the waning days of a very tough year.”
People also photographed the new and improved Amanda Bynes earlier in the week. The starlet looked in good spirits then, as well, when she first sported her new, blonde wig:
“Amanda Bynes is looking happier and healthier this holiday season since completing more than four months of inpatient treatment. The actress, 27, shopped in Los Angeles on Sunday, wearing a floral sweatshirt with skinny jeans and sneakers, and topping off the ensemble with pretty golden curls.”
Fans and family were relieved over Bynes recent release from psychiatric care. The Bynes’ family attorney was the first to announce the news in a statement to the press:
"Amanda and her entire family would like to thank everyone who's contacted them with good thoughts and wishes for Amanda's recovery. She's feeling better every day. Despite the fact Amanda is no longer in a facility, her outpatient treatment is continuing. She's very happy to reestablish the loving relationship with her family that she once shared."
