‘RHODC’ White House Party Crasher Michaele Salahi Sells Wedding to Journey’s Neal Schon on Pay-Per-View

'Real Housewives of D.C.'s' Michaele Salahi definitely does not shy away from the spotlight. So it comes as no surprise that she would be the first person to sell her wedding as a live event on Pay-Per-View, with a portion of the proceeds going to victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. Salahi was at one time reported to have been kidnapped, but her former husband and fellow White House party crasher, Tareq Salahi, said he was just joking or confused or something. She was really with Journey guitarist Neal Schon. The couple, who met 18 years ago when Schon invited Salahi and a friend “backstage,” after spotting them in the audience, were married in front of 350 of their closest friends and family and about a dozen cameras.

“Winter Wonderland Wedding and Music Event” was staged at the San Francisco’s Palace for the Fine Arts. The day opened with a pre-recorded video of the 80s rocker and D.C. socialite recounting how they met. The ceremony, which went on for an entire 25 minutes, was officiated by Califonia spiritual leader Michael Beckwith. The vows were not exactly traditional according to The Washington Post, containing phrases like: “Does your soul recognize him as a soul mate?”

Their souls recognize each other very well, says the duo’s mothers. The brides mother called the whole affair a “fairytale.” Schon's mother also weighed in according to The Washington Post, “This is the girl for him. Everybody has noticed the change in him.”

She must be referring to the other weddings that he didn’t sell.
