Victoria Justice is getting back in the spotlight. After lying relatively low for a few months following the cancellation of her hit Nickelodeon TV show, Victorious, Justice is blasting back to the top with the release of her new single, “Say Something,” with Max Schneider. Justice is also opening up about her feud with her former Victorious co-star, Ariana Grande.
If Ariana Grande is the next Mariah Carey, then Victoria Justice is the next Christina Aguilera. However, unlike her former Victorious co-star, Justice, hasn’t had as much exposure following the cancellation of the hit show. All of that is now about to change. Not only does Justice have a new show on MTV called Eye Candy, but the starlet also just released a new single. Justice’s new tune is a cover of A Great Big World’s hit song, “Say Something," alongside Max Schneider. Justice is also planning on releasing her debut solo album, Shake, in 2014.
Meanwhile, Justice is opening up about rumors of a feud between herself and Ariana Grande. Over the summer, Grande gave a statement to Seventeen that many assumed was about Justice:
"I worked with someone who told me they'd never like me. But for some reason, I just felt like I needed her approval. So I started changing myself to please her. It made me stop being social and friendly. I was so unhappy."
Justice fans were not too happy about the remarks and instead of waiting on any clarification, the irrational throng started threatening Grande. Likewise, Grande fans also attacked Justice online. However, Justice recently revealed the true nature of the comments on Twitter, telling two bullies off:
“@kristenLTFU Ariana wasn’t talking about me, she was talking about her experience on Broadway. How does it feel to have misinformation?”
“.@kristenLTFU It never said my name and she apologized to me. She said she was misquoted by Seventeen. #GetTheFactsStraight”
