Chris Brown has turned over a new leaf. After being found in violation of his probation, the X rapper has seen the error of his ways. Gone are the days of the wild, unhinged, womanizing behavior of the past. Chris Brown is now a changed man. Its a Christmas miracle...Nah...chances are Brown is still the same old Breezy that we've come to loath over the years. However, he did manage to do a little charity work. Brown was recently let out of anger management rehab in order to host a toy drive, because Chris Brown is obviously the best person to have around children.
Chris Brown was recently found in violation of his parole after his most recent arrest for assault. However, Brown wasn’t sentenced to any jail time because….well lets face it...he can sing and dance. After receiving a stern slap on the wrist and a good talking to, Brown was sent back to rehab to continue treatment for his anger issues. Brown did manage to break free for a few hours this past Sunday in order to host a toy drive for the Brooklyn Projects. Brown was allowed to take a brief sabbatical from his court ordered rehab, to hang out with young and impressionable youths.
After the event, Brown tweeted a very special thank you to all who participated:
"Thank you to all the fans who brought gifts for the kids today. Have a wonderful holiday. You've made a merry Christmas for a young child!"
Brown’s recent charity event is sure to undo the years of womanizing and bad behavior. Brown is undoubtedly on a redemptive journey the likes of Jesus Christ...according to R Kelly. Kelly recently compared the rapper to the son of God, when he spoke to The Guardian:
“He got knocked down a little bit and he climbed up. You know, that sounds like Ali to me. That sounds like Martin Luther King to me. That sounds like a lot of the greats that have walked this earth. It even sounds a little bit like Jesus to me."
Nevermind the fact that story of Jesus is called a redemptive story because he redeemed mankind from their sins and not because he brutally beat Mary Madeline (Although he probably did throw a chair when he destroyed the temple).
