'RHOBH' Brandi Glanville Fires Assistant for Lost Dog Break In, Following LeAnn Rimes Feud

Right on the heels of her feud with country singer LeAnn Rimes, reality television star Brandi Glanville had the unfortunate privilege of having her house burglarized. Glanville was on her Palm Spring vacation, when she received a phone call informing her that someone had broken into her house, and her beloved dog Chica was no where to be found. While this occurred earlier in the summer, it just aired on RHOBH, and this tragic event led to the firing of her assistant.

Glanville exhibited her usual style and poise, when she issued a $10,000 reward for the safe return of the animal, after promptly dismissing her assistant and presumed house guard. She tried to defend herself later that same week, via Twitter:

"I don't know wat [SIC] 2 believe about a break-in my assistant/nanny lost both my dogs earlier that week, I myself found them. So I let her go."

All this occurs just as it seemed she might be finally pulling herself together after her feud with LeAnn Rimes. She has already issued a formal statement, in which she sounded like she was finally back on an even keel, after running into LeAnn and Eddie Cibrian:

“Listen I throw joint birthday parties with them and I have no issue with it at all. They [LeAnn and Eddie] came by our table as they left and said ‘Bye’ to the kids and I said ‘Bye’ as I talked to Carlton. No scene, no drama, no nothing. I have to see them all the time for birthdays, baseball, soccer, at there house and mine dropping kids off, school events etc. That’s it. I go to Nobu all the time I've never seen them there but it was bound to happen at some point soooo not a big deal."

What do you think? Is it normal to expect your assistant to protect your house any time you leave it? Or is this just more of the classy behavior that ran off her husband?
