Kris Jenner recently made headlines for discussing Khloe Kardashian’s public divorce from Lamar Odom. Her latest comments come after Khloe was rumored to be dating Matt Kemp, following Lamar’s alleged cheating and drug scandal.
At an anti-drunk driving awareness event in Los Angeles, Kris Jenner recently opened up about her daughter’s crumbling marriage. The Kardashian momager told People that Khloe, as one might expect, is going through a particularly rough period:
“What Khloé is going through is definitely challenging, I’m not going to lie...It’s also a very interesting time for her because it’s very cleansing. She’s also showed this side of her that I didn’t know she had. I always knew Khloé was strong, but I never dreamed that she had this kind of strength."
This latest revelation comes after multiple gossip sites reported that Khloe is dating Matt Kemp. Radar Online even quotes a source who revealed that Lamar thinks his estranged wife cheated on him with the athlete:
“Lamar feels betrayed because Khloe was telling him she wanted to save the marriage and he was really trying to do so. He was far from the perfect husband, but Lamar genuinely thought there was a chance to save the relationship. Khloe always told Lamar she was only friends with Matt, but friends have been telling him that she had been hooking up with Kemp for months.”
Of course, it’s difficult to believe that Lamar would be upset with someone being unfaithful, especially considering his recent rap video. The NBA player, who was shirtless, rapped about cheating on his own wife:
"And when Khloe's out of town / I still be on the DL. You know what it is / We the QU [Queens] pimps / Ask any of these shorties / We ran through their cribs."
Shortly after, a source told Star that Khloe was furious with her husband's rap game:
“She was shocked, disgusted and embarrassed. She was just starting to build trust back with Lamar, and then this happened. She’s not sure how much more she can take.”
