Ariana Grande recently underwent what is possibly the worst interview of her life, when she spoke with 93.3 FLZ Radio Host Brian Fink. The poorly prepared host inadvertently set the Internet on fire when he mistook Grande’s ex-friend Jai Brooks with her new lover Nathan Sykes. While trying to clear up Fink’s confusion, Grande accidentally sparked rumors that she and the Wanted singer had broken up. Meanwhile, Grande has also been plagued with rumors that her hit series, Sam and Cat, is about to be canceled.
Ariana Grande made a terrible mistake when she spoke with radio host Brian Fink. Fink apparently didn’t have his facts straight when he brought up Grande’s birthday gift to her ex-boyfriend Jai Brooks. Grande responded to the statement, saying:
“You’re a little behind. We’re really good friends.”
When the interview went viral, many fans assumed that Grande was talking about breaking up with Nathan Sykes. Nathan quickly denied the breakup rumor, when he tweeted:
“Don’t believe anything until you hear it from me or one of the boys. Everyyyoneee calmmmmm doooowwwwnnnnn ☺ lol”
Ironically enough, Grande took time during that one interview to clear up another rumor. Recently, it was reported that Grande was allegedly planning to retire from acting, leading many to fear that her hit series Sam and Cat had been canceled. The confusion started when Grande allegedly told Complex:
"I never liked acting. I auditioned for TV just to get a platform to get a record deal, but then I fell in love with acting because it was fun...After I'm done playing Cat Valentine I don't see myself doing much acting. But I would like to do a scary movie, or a musical."
Grande attempted to clear up the rumors via Twitter, writing:
"Apparently I'm ‘retiring from acting’ but that's not true. :) just thought I'd clear that up, definitely a rumor...moooorning loves"
Grande echoed the statement during the ill fated Fink interview.
