Following the release of grizzly photos taken at the Paul Walker fatal crash site, the preliminary autopsy results of the Fast and Furious star were released last Wednesday. The tragic crash occurred after Walker was making an effort to spend more time with his daughter, Meadow.
According to the report, it is not completely clear if Walker was alive or even conscious immediately following the crash. However, the coroner could confirm what lead to the incident, as CNN reports:
“The coroner confirmed what many witnesses told investigators: Rodas was the driver in the crash; Walker was the passenger of the high-performance Porsche that clipped a light pole and a tree before erupting in flames on a Southern California street Saturday afternoon.”
The results from Walker’s autopsy follow the release of several shocking photos taken of the crash site. One source who spoke to Globe, commented on the tragic scene (via International Business Times):
“The bodies are severely burned and can be clearly seen lying inside the vehicle. Walker's body is still fairly intact. He has fallen backwards and his arms are spread apart. He is completely burned. No more clothes on his body."
The most tragic detail of the saga, however, may be that Walker and his teenage daughter Meadow had just recently become closer than ever. Walker, who became a father at 25, told Us Weekly that at that time in his life, “I was into having fun, I was an animal.”
Though, according to him, that all changed:
“I look at her like she’s this rocket ship, and I’m the launching pad, I want to get the trajectory right.”
Meadow, who is 15, hasn't released an official statement following the tragedy, though she has been seen in public. Our hearts and thoughts go out to the Walker family during this difficult time.
