Pregnant Kendra Wilkinson Talks Baby Bump Gender and New Children’s Book [UPDATE]

Kendra Wilkinson, who is pregnant, recently opened up about the gender of her bouncing baby bump. The reality star also announced that she is in the process of writing a new children’s book.

In a recent interview with People, Kendra talked about how happy her new life is. This is especially true when it comes to her pregnancy, as she told the publication:

“My life became full circle when we found out we were having a girl. My dream family has become a reality...I always said I will not have another baby until I’m in the happiest place I’ve been since the birth of Little Hank and this is it. It’s the four-year age difference--[our son] understands and he’s asking for [a sibling].”

Kendra also opened up to OK! Magazine, where she discussed what it was like finding out the sex of her child and the technological process behind it:

“We wanted to know the sex instantly. With a new DNA blood test we didn’t even have to wait for an ultrasound. We are people that don’t like to be surprised or thrown off. We want to be in control this time. We want to be settled and prepared and to make life as easy as possible.”

Of course, things weren't always so rosy. Kendra told the publication about a health scare they received early on. When asked about her decision to announce the pregnancy so early, Kendra acknowledged the risk in doing so:

“I’m such a blabbermouth. I had to try really hard to keep quiet, knowing there was a risk of losing the baby at the beginning--which ended up almost happening, actually...It was an awful experience. I had to go to the hospital. I spent the whole day there knowing there was the possibility I could have had a miscarriage.”
