Ian Somerhalder is getting into the holiday spirit with TVD. The former Lost star recently posted a spoiler-filled photo of himself from the set of his hit CW series The Vampire Diaries. The photo of himself covered in blood comes right after his recent on-screen break up with Nina Dobrev’s Elena. Meanwhile, everyone’s favorite vampire cast can also be seen in a fan-made video where they twerk it with Santa Claus in his north pole Twerk Shop.
Ian Somerhalder is either planning on pulling Santa’s sleigh this year or he just got done eating a human. Either way, Smouldy has quite the messy face. Somerhalder recently tweeted a link to an Instagram pic of himself covered in blood, with the comment:
“Season's Greetings from Damon The Red-Nosed Reindeer Ripper... https://instagram.com/p/h7OpMIqJ10/ “
Somerhalder’s on-screen character, Damon, has good reason to be angry. The vampire recently broke things off with his on-screen love, Elena, played by Nina Dobrev. Somerhalder and Dobrev recently won E! Onlines Best TV Couple of All Time. However, even at that time, Somerhalder teased that the couple was not meant to last, telling the publication:
"Relationships are hard in real life, and they're exceptionally hard in Mystic Falls because when you have happiness in Mystic Falls, you have no drama. And if you have no drama, you have no TV show."
Meanwhile, the gang from Mystic Falls can all be seen shaking a little holiday cheer in a fan-made video called Santa’s Twerkshop. The video features cut outs of the TVD cast twerking with Miley Cyrus in the North Pole. Although it was unauthorized, Nina Dobrev has endorsed the new short film by tweeting:
"@KatGraham just sent this to me. I dont (sic) know who made it but I just died of laughter! Merry Xmas from us at TVD!"
