War Machines: Don Cheadle Joins 'Avengers 2: Age of Ultron,' Terrence Howard Marries Third Wife

Big news for War Machine fans. Iron Man 3’s Don Cheadle has signed on to join Tony Stark in The Avengers 2: Age of Ultron. Meanwhile, the first War Machine, Terrence Howard, was secretly married to his third wife.

Iron Man 4 might be years away from production, but that doesn’t mean that Marvel is going to sit back and let the War Machine (Iron Patriot) suit rust. Don Cheadle has reportedly signed on to join the cast of Marvel’s upcoming, Avengers 2: Age of Ultron.

Warning Spoilers for Iron Man 3 Below

With the bulk of Iron Man’s armours being destroyed at the end of Iron Man 3, it is likely that James Rhodes might be filling in for Tony Stark in the new Avengers film. It is also rumored that Stark will be the creator of Ultron in the new film, as opposed to Ant-Man, who created the villain in the comics. Granted, Tony Stark’s creations being used against him is a theme in the series that is starting to wear thin. Stark industry weapons falling into the wrong hands was the main reason for Tony’s turn around in the first film. The second film had his tech being used against him by Justin Hammer and his drones. The War Machine suit was hijacked in Iron Man 3. Even Stark Tower was used against him in The Avengers.

Meanwhile, the first War Machine actor, Terrence Howard, has apparently gotten married. Howard was married twice before, and his latest trip down the aisle was kept very low key.

Howard has, however, been very outspoken about the reasons why he was booted from the Iron Man franchise after the first film. Howard was recently on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live, where he revealed:

“It turns out that the person that I helped become Iron Man, when it was time to re-up for the second one, took the money that was supposed to go to me and pushed me out."
