Looks like Teresa Giudice, who is up on multiple fraud charges, and Melissa Gorga were able to set aside their feud for the sake of their daughters. These latest rumors come after Teresa’s court hearing and Melissa’s book controversy.
Melissa and Teresa were spotted chatting it up at a cheerleading competition, according to Radar Online. One eyewitness told the website that the women actually acted appropriately for once:
“There wasn’t any drama. It was all about their kids. Perhaps they’re leaving the drama for the cameras, but it appears their feud is over for now.”
It’s good that the family set aside their differences for the sake of their family. After all, Teresa isn’t the only one who finds herself in hot water.
Melissa Gorga shocked the world when she was out promoting her book, Love Italian Style: The Secrets of My Hot and Happy Marriage. In an interview given to Star, the reality star said some puzzling things about how women should treat their husbands:
“Treat your man like the king, and in return you will be the queen. I truly believe that.”
Star questioned Melissa’s statement, which came off to many as sexist against women. Gorga defended her comments and told the magazine:
“It’s going to be controversial, and I get that. You can still be a successful woman, but when your husband gets home, greet him at the door and make him feel like the man. Maybe you didn’t have time to cook, but you can order Chinese food and put it on a plate.”
Her comments lead many to believe that Melissa was advocating marital rape. In a recent interview with OK!, the housewife stood by her statement:
“I truly believe what I said. If you treat him like the king, you will be queen. I know that he respects me as a wife and a mother. When I’m not in the mood, Joe doesn’t force me to do ANYTHING.”
