Yesterday, a Buzzfeed post entitled “21 Questions New Jerseyans Are Tired of Hearing” went viral. The article consists of celebrities responding to questions they are frequently asked about the Garden State. Now, we’ve got even more celebrity quotes from those residing in Jersey, including Jon Stewart, Snooki, JWoww and Pauly D.
In case you missed Erin Chack’s recent Buzzfeed post, you should really check out. The author has collected a number of great quotes (and even better GIFs) from celebs that call Jersey home.
For example, when Joe Jonas was asked, “Isn’t your state an entire dump,” the heartthrob responded:
“No, we just tell people that so they won’t come here and drive too slow in the left lane.”
Jon Stewart was also featured on the list, when he responded to the question, “Do you live in New Jersey because you can’t afford to live in New York.’ The popular latenight host quipped:
“No, I live in New Jersey because I like living in New Jersey.”
One of the more comical quotes come from Bruce Springsteen. After being asked why he wasn’t tan, the iconic rocker responded:
“Because I’m not a cast member of Jersey Shore.”
Of course, could any list about New Jersey be complete without hearing from the cast of Jersey Shore? While the following quotes have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the Garden State, they still deserve attention...but probably for the wrong reason:
Snooki: “If he starts with me again, I’m going to go into premature labor.”
Pauly D: “Eskimo brothers are when you hook up with the same chick…A lot of us in this house are Eskimo brothers. We all are!”
Deena: “People can just go to school at a bar. It’s like a class.”
