Gwyneth Paltrow has apparently won the war against Vanity Fair. The publication has reportedly killed the cheating story that they were planning to run. Now that the story is dead, Paltrow and her husband, Coldplay’s Chris Martin, are celebrating. The couple recently attended Jennifer Aniston’s tree trimming Christmas party alongside Robert Downey Jr. Is this enough to end the couple's divorce rumors?
Vanity Fair has reportedly decided to soften their cheating story on the starlet, but is the damage already done? Undoubtedly, Chris Martin has heard the rumors that his lovely wife is having an affair. If the couple are on the rocks, they are putting on a brave face for the world to see. The pair recently attended Jennifer Aniston’s Christmas tree trimming party. The guest list consisted of many A-listers, including Paltrow's good friend and Iron Man co-star, Robert Downey Jr.
Paltrow is known to be a picky eater, however, Aniston is prepared for everything. She told Parade about the menu for the event:
“There’s usually three different kinds of chili at the tree-trimming party. There’s a vegetarian chili, a turkey chili and a good ol’ beef chili," the actress said. "I can’t honestly say I make that, but I do make some Rice Krispies treats and hot chocolate. My best hostess tip is to have good food and really good music! We usually put on the Charlie Brown Christmas album. That’s my favorite. And then we’ll go to Bing Crosby and stuff like that.”
That seems 100 times healthier than the menu for the last party Paltrow and Downey attended together. At Downey’s wife's recent birthday bash, the guests were treated to a bacon cake. Turns out Downey also has an iron stomach.
