Tom Hiddleston is quickly becoming one of Hollywood's hottest actors. Now the Disney prince is teaming up with Sons of Anarchy's Charlie Hunnam in an all new horror movie. Fan girls everywhere are bound to riot when the two share the screen in Guillermo del Toro’s upcoming horror flick, Crimson Peak. Meanwhile, Hiddleston is joining forces with Jedi Master Ewan McGregor in an all new short film for UNICEF. The pair pleas for help in a new video, No Place Like Home, that was just released.
Tom Hiddleston may have been voted sexier than Charlie Hunnam in Glamour UK’s Sexist Men Alive Poll, but some of Hunnam fans might disagree on that. However, fan girls won't have to choose what hunk to back when the two co-star in Guillermo del Toro’s upcoming horror film, Crimson Peak.
After Pacific Rim, Charlie Hunnam jumped at the chance to work with del Toro, telling E! News:
"I have a film that I'm doing with Guillermo, another film that I've been scheduled to do for the last year. Right when we wrapped Pacific Rim, Guillermo and I had a wonderful time, collaborating together and he signed on to do this movie and right away, he said, you know I'd love you to come on and be a part of it, so I'm gonna go do that."
Hiddleston was also thrilled to work with the Hellboy director, telling Slash Film:
“Guillermo’s an absolute omniscient about that particular genre of fiction, in literature, in cinema…His precision and passion...The script itself is bone chillingly terrifying. When I was reading it for the first time I had to get up and walk around the room, then sit down again because I was so scared. But it’s also so sophisticated. It’s actually a very mature film. It has a very sophisticated and adult sensibility that stems from what Guillermo sees as the root of all of this stuff, which is the gothic romance literature of the nineteenth century.”
Meanwhile, Hiddleston is lending time and talents to a good cause. Hiddleston joins Ewan McGregor, Michael Sheen, Emma Bunton, Rita Ora and Tinie Tempah in UNICEF’s plea for the children of Syria in the new short, No Place Like Home.
