Rumors are always flying when it comes to who Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez may be dating. Following their high profile breakup, news outlets have tried to associate even music videos, like “All that Matters,” with the stars’ love lives. At least the latest controversy has taken attention away from rumors that Gomez is dating Union J’s George Shelley.
According to The Dallas Morning News, Justin really stirred things up in his new music video. The newspaper told its readers:
“Justin Bieber released a new music video for his song ‘All that Matters’ in which the singer is seen kissing a caressing a young woman by the name of Cailin Russo. Well, not only has Russo been receiving death threats from some of Bieber’s over-zealous fans, the video apparently also got the attention of Bieber’s ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.”
The publication was clearly referencing an Instagram post, where Selena said, “I thought he only liked the Latina category. SMH.” Yikes.
All those Beliebers who were longing for the couple to rekindle their relationship may be disappointed. In fact, Selena doesn’t seem interested in starting a relationship with anyone.
In a recent interview with the Zach Sang and the Gang radio show, Gomez claims to have only been asked out on one date following the Biebs. Not to mention, she even turned down the date:
“Do you know I’ve been asked out on one date, that’s it? I’ll say what I said to that boy. I said, ‘Thank you very much, but I’m not in the place where I want to date right now.’ I’m very content with how I’ve been living my life and you know if that comes that comes, but I’m enjoying being single.”
Of course, this report varies greatly from others we’ve seen. This is especially true when it comes to the British tabloid, The Sun. The publication quoted a source who revealed that George Shelley and Selena actually hooked up one night:
“Everyone else left the room at 2 a.m. so they were able to spend the night together. Nobody was annoyed with George. After all, he's been pursued by one of the biggest pop stars in the world--it's any lad's dream come true.”
