Tonight is the big night for the CW’s Arrow. The mid-season finale for the hit series airs tonight. In the new episode, The Flash returns. Meanwhile, Colton Haynes is teasing a Teen Titans reunion as his character, Roy Harper ( A.K.A Speedy in the comics), is meeting up with Brother Blood. Will Speedy share the same fate as Deathstroke? Warning Spoilers Below!
Former Teen Wolf star Colton Haynes recently posted a picture on Instagram of his character Roy “Speedy” Harper about to get dosed by Brother Blood’s miracle drug. Haynes spoke to MTV about Harper’s dire situation:
“He's not going in a very good direction! He is, in true Roy fashion, getting in a lot of trouble. For some reason, when Roy throws a punch, he misses. And when someone throws a punch at him, they never miss. Roy is going through a little bit of a dark time right now, and ultimately ends up with an injection that another character, Slade Wilson [Manu Bennett], has also ended up with in flashbacks.”
However, Haynes is well aware that tease has upset a lot of fans, adding:
“I don't enjoy making them mad! There was a subliminal message there, it wasn't just being mean. They can be sad that something bad is happening to Roy [Harper], or they could be sad that the mid-season finale is happening and we have a while until we come back. I don't enjoy making them mad, but it's fun to interact with them that way.”
Between Roy Harper, Brother Blood and Slade, it is starting to look like a Teen Titans reunion. What’s next...Dick Grayson? TVD’s Steven McQueen recently tweeted a picture of himself working out in a Nightwing shirt along a message stating that was in talks with Arrow producers:
“Nightwing training @ARROWwriters @GBerlanti @KyleDHiggins @RapaportCasting.”
“Had some superhero conversations with the executives this weekend @ARROWwriters.”
