Sarah Palin, who was recently called a “world class idiot,” recently announced that she was getting a new TV show. This latest news comes after MSNBC fired both Martin Bashir and Alec Baldwin.
Good news America, you get to hear Sarah Palin say even MORE stupid things. The homophobic queen of the Tea Party has gotten yet another show.
This time, she’s at an even bigger network--The Sportsman Channel. Wait...is that a thing?
In any event, the channel is super excited to bring on Mama Bear, as evidenced by their press release:
“The show explores and experiences the coolest and most original people, places, businesses, and gadgets that appeal to Red, Wild and Blue America. Whether it is celebrities living the sportsman dream or equally enthusiastic everymen, Mrs. Palin will take us nationwide to find the people and places that share and reflect her passion for what makes our country amazing.”
I guess this would be pretty cool...if Larry the Cable Guy hadn’t done it first. After all, Larry is probably one of those know-it-all elitists who can tell you the name of a newspaper they read. But not our Sarah! Finally, we get to see someone who can’t name even ONE founding father tell us about America.
Fear not conservative friends, Martin Bashir isn’t even around to rain on her parade (actually...I think it would be urinate on her parade...I struggled with his analogy). The longtime host explained his termination to The Hollywood Reporter:
“After making an on-air apology, I asked for permission to take some additional time out around the Thanksgiving holiday. Upon further reflection, and after meeting with the president of MSNBC, I have tendered my resignation. It is my sincere hope that all of my colleagues, at this special network, will be allowed to focus on the issues that matter without the distraction of myself or my ill-judged comments.”
