Khloe Kardashian took time to defend her brother, Rob Kardashian, after critics called him fat, following his tremendous weight gain. Her defense comes after Khloe was battling her own rumors, including that she and Lamar Odom would be getting a divorce over his alleged drug use and cheating.
The Kardashians have always had each others’ backs (ie. sextapes, 72 day marriages, etc), and this time is no different. In an interview with Perez Hilton, Khloe addressed all of the attention her brother’s weight gain has garnered:
"People give, especially guys, such a hard time to lose weight, because people expect men to lose weight so much faster. But losing weight in general is so hard and it takes a lot of time and determination. It doesn't happen in one day! He's definitely working on it but it takes time. I'm just happy that he's feeling good about himself. He's on his own."
It’s nice that Khloe would take time to defend her own sibling, considering that she and husband Lamar Odom appear in the tabloids weekly...and rarely for anything good. Last week was no different, as OK! claimed that the NBA player was willing to spill all of the Kardashian family secrets if he doesn’t receive a major payday. According to their source, Odom would be relentless:
“He’d go on TV, on radio, newspapers and magazines, whatever. His story would be an ultimate window into their world, and he knows it. It’s all about exit strategy for right now, and from Lamar’s point of view, money is key.
“He’s been through a lot of his fortune with the crazy lifestyle, all the partying, the fast cars and loose women. Maybe $50 million might sound like a crazy amount but Lamar figures the Kardashians are rolling in money. This is like peanuts to them in the big picture.”
We want to hear from you guys. Do you think that Rob’s weight should be off limits, considering how much the media focuses on women’s weight? Is there any chance that Khloe and Lamar can save their marriage?
