Things are reportedly getting hot and heavy between The Vampire Diaries’ Nina Dobrev and her ex-boyfriend, Ian Somerhalder. The couple have been spending an awful lot of time together. However, Somerhalder went out on a date with another women for his birthday.
Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder are reportedly getting back together. However, it has yet to be confirmed. The couple recently won E! Online's Best TV Couple of All Time award.
E! Online recently spoke who with an unnamed source who alleges that the couple are on the brink of getting back together:
"Insiders say that it's still too soon to tell if they'll make a full reconciliation, but the two are definitely getting hot and heavy once again."
Dobrev recently tweeted a happy birthday message to her on-again, off-again boyfriend:
“Happy Bday Smouldy! Hope you had a beautiful day filled w/ smiles+gluten free cake!But not too much cake,we're on the CW :P @iansomerhalder.”
Nina wasn’t the only one to wish Somerhalder a happy birthday. Ian went on a birthday date with Vampire Diaries’ executive producer Julie Plec. Somerhalder tweeted:
"On a hot date right w/ my cosmic sister/boss/love The one. The only. @julieplec I LOVE you Jules... Thanks for my pre-birthday dinner."
Plec also tweeted about the dinner, adding:
"Tried to take @iansomerhalder out for his bday and he snuck the bill out from under me. What a man. Too bad he lacks looks, charm & smarts."
Although, Somerhalder isn’t the only one who Dobrev is congratulating. Dobrev recently tweeted her ex, Dancing with the Stars pro Derek Hough:
“Congratulations @derekhough + @msamberpriley !!!!! Way to stomp,shimmy and shake your way to first place! You deserve it! Proud of you both!”
Dobrev apparently likes to stay close with her ex’s.
