Bethenny Frankel, who is undergoing a very public divorce from Jason Hoppy, recently granted an interview with a major U.S. tabloid. The reality star talked about exercising, her diet and what she plans to do over the holidays. The talk show host, however, was quiet about her low ratings and alleged feud with Ellen.
This week’s Star featured a Question and Answer segment with none other than Bethenny Frankel. Bethenny, whose body looks amazing (no, really), was asked how she stays in shape. Turns out she works out...a lot:
“I do yoga when I can, which isn’t a lot. With taping, I haven’t had a lot of time to work out, so if I do it’s for four days straight. I get it in, then I don’t focus on it the next week. The rest is moderation. Taste everything, eat nothing. I don’t overindulge. You have to block out the food noise.”
When asked about what her holiday plans entail, there was no mention of her estranged husband, Jason Hoppy. There was, however, talks of a pretty tacky Christmas tree:
“The holidays are such a beautiful time to be grateful and connect with friends and family. There will probably be a snowboarding adventure and a pink Christmas tree!”
Bethenny’s talk show isn’t doing much better than her personal life. The show is...well, struggling. According to a source who spoke with Star, Bethenny is furious that she is losing the ratings war with Queen Latifah:
“Bethenny is livid about Queen Latifah beating her--she can’t believe this is happening. She’s holding crisis talks in order to figure out what Latifah has that she doesn’t.”
This insider went on to reveal that Frankel was thrilled when Kris Jenner’s show went off the air, as she presumed that she would be the top dog:
“Bethenny was overjoyed when Kris Jenner’s show got canned, because she figured Kris was her biggest competition. She had no idea that Queen Latifah would be the one to crush her. Unfortunately, she’s still seen as a Real Housewife, and people just like Queen Latifah better. This is a huge embarrassment.”
