Looks like Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian are headed towards divorce. Rumors that the couple would soon breakup follows months of claims that Lamar abused drugs and cheated on Khloe multiple times. Now the tabloids are claiming that the duo is headed for a multi-million dollar divorce.
According to a source who spoke with Hollywood Life, Khloe and Lamar will be getting a divorce in January. Apparently she wants to make it through the holidays first, as the insider revealed:
“The divorce plans are very calculated. Not only does Khloe want to wait until after the holidays, she also wants to wait to see if Lamar will sign with an NBA team [because] she would want him to finish the season drama free. Plus she wants to work around the television show storylines. As crazy as this all sounds Khloe is business first, divorce afterwards.”
The news is somewhat disappointing, as multiple reports seemed to indicate that the couple was getting back together. After all, they were even photographed partying at a Kanye West concert.
A recent article in OK! seemed to suggest that as long as Lamar stayed sober, Khloe was willing to forgive him. Despite his past transgressions, she was willing to give him a second chance, as once insider claims: :
“At this point, it’s all very conditional--he isn’t moving back in until he has proven that he can stay sober for at least three months. But Khloe is very hopeful that he’ll be able to do it and they’ll be back together again.”
The source went on to reveal that the entire Kardashian clan is rallying around Lamar. According to the insider, the family is hopeful and supportive:
“Her whole family still loves Lamar; they see his addiction as a disease and are all rooting for him. They are so proud that he’s got three weeks sober, and wanted to show him that he’s still one of them.”
