This year’s Keeping Up with the Kardashians Christmas card can only be described as weird and creepy. Luckily, several family members were smart enough to stay clear of the hot mess. Brody Jenner, Rob Kardashian and Kanye West were noticeably absent from the abomination.
In retrospect, it makes sense that a lot of the family opted out of this year’s Kardashian/Jenner Christmas card. However, it’s unclear as to why, specifically, Brody, Rob and Kanye were not featured.
When it comes to Brody’s absence, many are speculating that the Kardashians simply didn’t want him to take part in the festivities. After all, Brody recently admitted to Us Weekly that he doubts if he will be going to Kimye’s wedding, since he wasn’t even invited to the engagement party:
"Well, you never know with the family. I didn't get invited to the engagement, so you never know."
Brody didn’t have Thanksgiving with the Kardashians either. Of course, that’s because he was chilling with the Jenners, as he told Life & Style:
"The Jenners have their own Thanksgiving. We get the family together. We have about 20-25 people from the Jenner side over and we have fun. It's just about family. We eat a lot of food."
Rob’s absence, too, made a lot of sense. On a recent episode of the hit-reality TV show, Rob spoke about his massive weight gain and admitted that he doesn’t like to be seen when he’s heavy:
“I've just not been feeling myself, gaining a bunch of weight. It's frustrating, I'm not happy going out when I'm not in good shape. If I don't get myself together in six months then I won't want to hang around everybody.”
Kanye was apparently busy the day of the shoot, even though he allegedly hired David LaChapelle to photograph the monstrosity.
