Jacob is forced to train the elephant with Marlena, the ringmaster's wife, when she is introduced as the newest attraction.
'Water for Elephants,' produced by Peter Schneider, Jennifer Costello, Grove Entertainment, Frank Marshall, Isaac Robert Hurwitz, and Seth A. Goldstein, is currently playing at the Imperial Theatre (249 West 45th Street) and has received seven nominations for the 2024 Tony Awards, including "Best Musical."
