Rumors are always flying when it comes to the divorce of Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones. Turns out the Wall Street actor may be trying to win back her heart by making their children pancakes.
According to a new report by Sunday People, Michael is trying to get back together with his estranged wife. While they live in separate houses, a source has revealed that Michael comes over daily and cooks, via National Ledger:
''When he's in New York, he makes the kids breakfast and comes back in the evening to watch TV with them before bedtime...Then he gets his marching orders from his wife and returns to sleep at his own place in Manhattan...He so desperately wants to be back as part of the family's life. Catherine thinks it's really touching he's being so hands-on with the kids--and he's praying it's the key back into her heart.''
Daily Mail also reported that Michael has been spending a lot more time with his family. In fact, the publication claims that Michael has moved back in and things are much better, as a source revealed:
“People kept asking [Michael] what’s been going on with Catherine. Michael said, ‘We are doing great, she's better than ever,’ and said their kids are doing great.”
Shortly after Michael and Catherine announced that they were separating, rumors that Douglas was unfaithful surfaced. Star even published photos of Michael on vacation with a young woman who looked like Catherine, as a source claimed:
“At first, everyone thought the woman was Catherine, especially with all the attention Michael was lavishing on her. But it wasn’t. Michael and Catherine are living totally separate lives and are powering full steam ahead with the divorce. She was gorgeous--tall, with long, dark hair pulled back in a braided ponytail and a million dollar smile. Michael seemed to be putting the moves on this woman hard-core. He must be champing at the bit to play the field again.”
