Tony Award winner and original Broadway cast member Aaron Tveit will return to 'Moulin Rouge!' with platinum-selling singer, songwriter, and actress Joanna "JoJo" Levesque as Christian and Satine.

The production will run for a 12-week limited run at Broadway's Al Hirschfeld Theatre from Tuesday, July 23, through Sunday, October 13.

Tveit's creation of the Christian character brought him his first Tony Award. He recently starred opposite Sutton Foster as the lead in the film 'Sweeney Todd.' He has also performed on Broadway in 'Wicked,' 'Hairspray,' 'Next to Normal,' and 'Catch Me If You Can.'

JoJo, who sang a charming blend of R&B-inspired pop, became well-known at 13 with her self-titled debut album. In 2006, she acted alongside Robin Williams in the film 'RV' and debuted on Broadway as Satine in 'Moulin Rouge!' last year.

They join a cast that includes Hailee Kaleem Wright as the Satine Alternate, David Harris as The Duke of Monroth, Ricky Rojas as Santiago, André Ward as Toulouse-Lautrec, and Austin Durant as Harold Zidler.

The ensemble includes Jacqueline B. Arnold, Tasia Jungbauer, Jeigh Madjus, Dabria Aguilar, Giovanni Bonaventura, Cameron Burke, Nick Burrage, Lauren Celentano, Patrick Clanton, Alexander Gil Cruz, Bobby Daye, Aaron C. Finley, Bahiyah Hibah, Heather Makalani, Nick Martinez, Kaitlin Mesh, Kelsey Orem, Dylan Paul, Clay Rice-Thomson, Amy Quanbeck, Jenn Stafford, Brandon Stonestreet, Alec Varcas, Cole Wachman, Michael Bryan Wang, Bria Jené Williams, Shaun-Avery Williams, Jordan Wynn, and Ricardo A. Zayas.

'Moulin Rouge!,' based on the 2001 film, made its Broadway debut in 2019 after a Boston tryout. The musical has received 14 Tony Awards in 2020, winning 10, including Best Musical.

The production was directed by Alex Timbers, with choreography by Sonya Tayeh and a screenplay by John Logan (which was inspired by the same-titled film helmed by Baz Luhrmann). Along with many other contemporary pop tunes, the score includes renditions of songs such as 'Your Song' by Sia, 'Fireworks' by Katy Perry, and 'Chandelier' by Elton John.

Furthermore, the story occurs at Paris' famed Moulin Rouge and follows the tragic love story between performer Satine and composer Christian.

Music director Julie McBride and producer Matt Stine complete the production's music team. Justin Levine serves as musical supervisor. Levine, Stine, Charlie Rosen, and Katie Kresek are the orchestrators, and Levine and Stine are responsible for the dance arrangements.

Along with Luhrmann and Catherine Martin providing creative services, the creative team includes scenery designer Derek McLane, costume designer Catherine Zuber, lighting designer Justin Townsend, sound designer Peter Hylenski, hair designer David Brian Brown, and makeup designer Sarah Cimino. Jim Carnahan and Stephen Kopel are in charge of casting.
