Bethenny Frankel’s divorce may be affecting the celebrity in more ways than one. In a recent on-air bit, Frankel literally kissed the butt of one of her guests. Her latest actions follow a messy breakup with Jason Hoppy and terribly low ratings for her new show.
Phaedra Parks probably didn’t know what she was getting into when she signed up to appear on Bethenny. Not only did the girls dive into Parks’ personal life, but they also had a dance off.
Within moments, it was clear who the winner would be. Spoiler Alert: It’s the woman who coined the phrase “Donkey Booty.” And yeah, it’s exactly what you’re thinking.
Even Bethenny was impressed with Phaedra’s butt. In fact, she actually gave it a feel, before exclaiming ‘It is tight.” But that’s not all, Bethenny actually kissed her behind, adding:
“I tell you something, you're the first person whose a-- I ever kissed!'
It’s stunts like these that have many wondering if Bethenny is trying everything she can to save her show, which has consistently exhibited low ratings. Radar Online claims that the low ratings have to do with Frankel discussing her divorce on the show. They even claim that Ellen has spoken with Frankel about her behavior, quoting a source as revealing:
“Ellen wants Bethenny to stop yakking about the divorce because there is a public perception that she’s to blame for the split. Jason is very sympathetic figure--a doting dad--and quite frankly, many of Bethenny’s viewers and fans don’t understand why she dumped him. Whenever Bethenny opines about how hard the divorce has been on her and bemoans that Jason wasn’t the love of her life, viewers turn the channel. This is one of the major factors contributing to Bethenny’s very weak ratings.”
The low ratings have allegedly left Bethenny irate. According to a source who spoke with Star:
“Bethenny is livid about Queen Latifah beating her--she can’t believe this is happening. She’s holding crisis talks in order to figure out what Latifah has that she doesn’t. Bethenny was overjoyed when Kris Jenner’s show got canned, because she figured Kris was her biggest competition. She had no idea that Queen Latifah would be the one to crush her. Unfortunately, she’s still seen as a Real Housewife, and people just like Queen Latifah better. This is a huge embarrassment.”
