The Broadway League Foundation announced that EMMY and two-time Tony Award nominee Josh Groban will host the 15th annual Jimmy Awards.

The ceremony will take place on Monday, June 24, at the Minskoff Theatre in Manhattan.

"We are delighted that multi-platinum recording artist and two-time Tony Award nominee Josh Groban will host this year's Jimmy Awards. As both an accomplished artist and advocate for arts education in his own right, we are thrilled to have him join us in celebrating the achievements of and giving inspiration to high school musical theatre students across the country, including the over 100 student nominees performing on stage that night," Jason Laks, Interim President of The Broadway League, said.

In a statement, Groban expressed his excitement about being the host of the 15th annual Jimmy Awards. He said that these nominees' dedication and immense talent are truly inspiring.

He claimed that arts education holds a dear place in his heart and noted its profound impact, showcased through these young talents each year at the Jimmy Awards.

Groban was nominated for his roles in the 2016 'Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812' and the 2023 revival of 'Sweeney Todd' at the Tony Awards.

Furthermore, he received four Grammy Award nominations as a singer-songwriter. He was also nominated for a second Grammy as the lead vocalist of 'Sweeney Todd' cast album.

On Monday, June 24, the 2024 Jimmy Awards will be broadcast live online for free on the Jimmy Awards YouTube and Facebook pages. The ceremony will remain available online for three days afterward, through Thursday evening, June 27.
