Sam and Cat stars Jennette McCurdy and Ariana Grande were recently spotted holding hands together, while Grande’s real date, Nathan Sykes, was left lonely. Meanwhile, McCurdy has released another a capella song. This time, the starlet covers One Direction’s “Story of My Life.”
After Ariana Grande’s big night at the AMA’s, her boyfriend Nathan Sykes and Sam and Cat co-star Jennette McCurdy accompanied her out to dinner. However, it was McCurdy who was on Grande’s arm for the event. A photo of the threesome was taken showing Ariana and Jennette holding each other while Sykes was left out.
Before the event, McCurdy tweeted about Grande using the hashtag # Lesbotweet:
“Going with miss @arianagrande to the AMA's! Can't wait to see all the performances, but especially excited & proud to see hers! #lesbotweet”
McCurdy recently told People's In Style about her and Grande’s close connection :
”We share everything. We always go through, like, boy situations at the same time, so we both had new kind of romances over our break, so we’ve just been kind of catching up. "
McCurdy also spoke with EntertainmentWise about her relationship with her co-star and best friend:
“For us, if we're on set we'll rehearse and then we'll go and have lunch together, usually at some healthy place trying to be healthy and I'm sat crying while eating hummus. Then we go back to work and if we're exhausted then we just go straight home but if we're just hanging out for fun, I'll usually just go over to Ariana's house and we'll watch movies, pick outfits out for each other and plan what we're each going to wear and talk a lot about boys."
