'White Noise' Andrew Barth Feldman and 'Modern Family' star Sarah Hyland join Westside Theater's 'Little Shop of Horrors' cast beginning May 28. The pair will succeed Corbin Bleu and Jinkx Monsoon in the roles of Seymour and Audrey respectively.

Both Feldman and Hyland made their Broadway debuts at age 16. Feldman played the title role in 'Dear Evan Hansen' in 2019, followed by a recurring role in the Disney Plus series, 'High School Musical: The Musical: The Series,' and a starring role in the 2023 film, 'No Hard Feelings.'

Hyland entered Broadway as Jackie Bouvier in 'Grey Gardens,' and is best known for playing Haley Dunphy in the ABC sitcom, 'Modern Family.' She has also performed in Hollywood Bowl's 2014 production of 'Hair,' and makes her New York theater debut in 'Little Shop of Horrors.'

With Feldman and Hyland are continuing cast members, James Carpinello as Orin Scrivello, Stephen DeRosa as Mr. Mushnik, Aaron Arnell Harrington as the voice of Audrey II, Tiffany Renee Thompson as Ronnette, Morgan Ashley Bryant as Crystal, and Khadija Sankoh as Chiffon.

Premiering in 1982, 'Little Shop of Horrors' was written by lyricist Howard Ashman and composer Alan Menken, who took inspiration from the music of the 50s and 60s. The plot follows the story of the flower shop worker, Seymour, who makes a deal with the giant, carnivorous plant, Audrey II, for fame, fortune, and the affection of his colleague, Audrey. The musical has produced several well-known songs, such as 'Skid Row (Downtown)' and 'Suddenly, Seymour.'

Westside's revival of the Ashman-Menken musical opened in October 2019, and resumed in September 2021 after closing due to the pandemic. It is directed by Tony winner Michael Mayer.
