Rumors are flying that Ryan Gosling has began dating his ex Rachel McAdams. That’s surely some good news for McAdams, whose newest film, About Time, recently bombed at the box office. These latest claims come after Gosling’s rumored breakup with Eva Mendes.
It was a big weekend at the box office, but not every film was a hit. Unfortunately, one of those films happened to be Rachel McAdams’ newest flick.
While Hunger Games: Catching Fire and Disney’s Frozen broke Thanksgiving records, About Time brought in just $374,000.
As of December 1, the movie has grossed $14,663,658 domestically, since it’s November 2 release date. By contrast, HG2 brought in $74 million on its opening weekend. In case you were thinking about seeing the film, the studio provided the following synopsis:
“The night after another unsatisfactory New Year party, Tim's father tells his son that the men in his family have always had the ability to travel through time. Tim can't change history, but he can change what happens and has happened in his own life-so he decides to make his world a better place...by getting a girlfriend. Sadly, that turns out not to be as easy as you might think.”
Of course, many are more interested in Rachel McAdams’ personal life than any movie she is starring in. This is especially true after rumors surfaced that she is back with her ex-lover, Ryan Gosling.
According to a source who spoke with OK! Magazine, Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling decided to call it quits. The insider further claimed that it was Eva who broke up with Ryan:
“Eva said the relationship just ran its course. There wasn’t a lot to say. He was everything you’re supposed to want in a guy--great on paper--but she felt like something was missing.”
After this announcement, it was only a matter of time before the hunky actor was linked to the beautiful McAdams. In a later edition of the tabloid, a second source claims that Ryan and Rachel have been growing closer:
“Rachel is pushing hard to get him back, and he’s becoming more and more receptive to her. They talk and message each other all the time.”
