Today, the beloved pop-culture-inspired ensemble, Vitamin String Quartet, just hit top spots on multiple Billboard charts, bagging No. 1 on the Classical Albums, Indie Store Album Sales, and Classical Crossover Albums charts with "VSQ Performs Taylor Swift."
Vitamin String Quartet's Recent Success
In addition to these placements, VSQ's recent offering also debuted high in other charts, namely No. 15 in Vinyl Albums, No. 23 on Heatseekers Albums, No. 26 on Top Current Album Sales, and No. 37 on Top Album Sales.
This achievement comes off the heels of their renewed feature in the hit Netflix and Shondaland original: "Bridgerton," building on the group of acclaimed instrumentalists' success alongside over 2 billion streams, almost 4 million downloads, and over 1 million physical units sold.
On top of popular media recognition, for their classical reinterpretations of pop hits, VSQ has also recently taken over Pandora's "Classical Goes Pop Radio" station.
"I'm absolutely thrilled for our team, who give their all in hopes of sparking a little magic in the daily lives of our listeners," said Leo Flynn, one of VSQ's creative directors at CMH Label Group.
"Of course," he continued, "the success of the album speaks to the profound scale that Taylor does that on, but it also speaks to a certain twist-an added layer of beauty and intrigue-that VSQ always seems to bring to the conversation."
Alongside this recent string of triumphs, VSQ also announced last week their US tour performing the music of Billie Eilish, BTS, The Weeknd, and Daft Punk, on top of their most popular bops based on Taylor Swift and Bridgerton.
