Last Tuesday night, April 23, multi-Grammy and Academy Award-winner Jon Batiste started the Momentary's Live On The Green Summer Music Series with a bang, offering a set of electrifying renditions of beloved classics.
Specifically, the kick-off concert included Batiste's powerful performance of "Oh When the Saints," a beautiful arrangement of "You Are My Sunshine," and a surprise performance of "Summertime" by Louis Armstrong with 2X Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Jewel.
Pumping up the crowd with unprecedented vibes, Batiste was met with an overwhelming call for an encore, which he and his band duly accommodated. Then, the jazz icon walked and performed among The Momentary's attendees, giving them an unforgettable experience.
