About Blue Lab Beats' Latest Full-Length Offering
A pair of beat-savvy savants, the duo started as bedroom producers and remixers for music industry big names like Dua Lipa and Rag'N'Bone Man, alongside supporting artists such as Roy Ayers and Thundercat. They also produced Kojey Radical's "Reason to Smile."
Now, after releasing their "XOver" album to commercial success as it amassed over 10 million streams, and following their Grammy win for their production on Angelique Kidjo's "Fired Up" track, the duo is poised to hit the spotlight with their latest masterpiece once again.
In fact, "Blue Eclipse" has already garnered critical acclaim from publications like Clash and The Guardian, with the latter praising the record's "hip-hop grooves and interwoven hooks that nodded to the late J Dilla and Robert Glasper, as well as influences from London's booming young jazz, hip-hop, and neo-soul-steeped underground."
Featured guests in the album include Mercury Prize-nominated Kojey Radical alongside Daley on "Take Time," IDK and Jay Prince on "Say Wow," rising UK Neo-soul artist Farah Audhal and GRAMMY-nominated Amber Navranand on "Wait A While," Poppy Daniels on the title track, and many others.
