Chad Lawson is Slated to Release New Lead Single ‘Sanctuary’ Next Week, Off of Upcoming Album ‘Where We Are’

World-acclaimed pianist Chad Lawson, known for bridging music and wellness through chart-topping contemporary classical releases, and his iHeart Radio Award-nominated podcast "Calm It Down," is gearing up for the release of his next record's lead single: "Sanctuary."

The new song will arrive next Thursday, April 11, ahead of his upcoming album: "Where We Are," out on July 19 through Verve Records.

About Chad Lawson's 'Where We Are'

Given Lawson's background as a certified breathing expert and his mental health savviness, most of his music revolves around such themes, with his past two albums aptly named "Breathe" and "You Finally Knew."

To date, these two prior projects earned the pianist more than 700 million streams across varying platforms, making Lawson one of the most streamed contemporary classical artists of recent times.

Now, he is "gathering his breath" for his new musical endeavor, "Where We Are," a collection of original solo piano works documented at the legendary Rainbow Studios in Oslo, Norway.

This time, Lawson applies a lens of positive retrospection for his new album, centering its message around the deeply meaningful messages his fans send him regarding how his music has significantly affected their lives and outlook.

"'Sanctuary' is a song that embodies an emotional embrace, offering itself as a retreat from the chaos of the world," said Lawson in a statement. "It was written to be a comforting presence, a peaceful haven you can turn to whenever you need a moment of tranquility amidst life's turmoil."
