Pete Muller Premieres Lyric Video for New Single ‘Run Out of Love’ Ft. Lisa Loeb

Pianist and singer-songwriter Pete Muller releases his second lead single "Run Out of Love," a pop-rock duet that features Grammy-winning musician Lisa Loeb, off of his upcoming album "More Time," out on May 17 via Two Truths Music.

The new track, whose artistic lyric video premiered last Thursday, March 21, is drenched with bluesy riffs and breakdowns underscoring the inevitable allure of love, as encouraged by our limitless capacity for romantic devotion.

This is perhaps best encapsulated by the lyrics for the song's hook: "But even when you think you might be giving too much, there ain't no way you can run out of love."

Both Muller and Loeb's vocal performances lull you into that message of affectionate inescapability, before culminating into a back-and-forth musical volley by the third verse and cementing the song's melancholy with a classic but subdued version of a "rock-n-roll" drop.

"We opened for Lisa Loeb last summer, and we had a lot of fun touring with her," said Muller, recalling how the enthralling duet came to fruition, "I love Lisa's voice and was thrilled that she agreed to sing on the album's closing track, 'Run Out of Love.'"

"Lisa and I worked well together to make the song a duet," he continued. "She had the cool idea of going back and forth on the third verse, and that's my favorite verse of the song."

As for the meaning behind the new track, Muller said: "Some people fear that if they offer love and it's not returned, their love will be depleted," adding, "What I've found is that the more you love, the more you're able to love in the future."

"Run Out of Love" follows after Muller's previous lead single release, his forthcoming album's title track "More Time," which was accompanied by a beautifully shot music video directed by Gus Black (Phoebe Bridgers, Sheryl Crow).
